Welcome to the restored website of converted MR2 sports car ZEV240 - a zero-emissions-vehicle.
Another of Life's wonderful ironies is that I was once offered a retail subsidy of ~$4,000 to install PVs (photovoltaic cells) on my roof BUT there is no equivalent subsidy for taking a petrol-guzzler off the road - which reduces air pollution and stops consuming hard-to-replace oil.
The PV subsidy was an attempt to distort 'normal' macro-economic behaviour, and it worked. Clearly too well, as it has largely been dismantled here in Perth, Australia. The effort we put into 'getting the settings right' when we want to effect long term change can be remarkably effective.
SOLD
Im pleased to report that the ZEV240 electric car is on its way to a new home.
It's quiet, efficient, cheap to run, fun to drive and 100% electric. I can see why someone bought it!
